The October Newsletter is posted on the website under the “Calendar” tab or click here.

Here are a few highlights:

The indoor pool and saunas are now open, and so is the outdoor sunning area whenever the temperature is above 70 degrees. With school in session, the pool will be closing at 8 pm during the week, and 7 pm Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Thank you to all who enjoyed the extended outdoor pool season. We had over a thousand residents and guests use the pool during the extra 18 days we stayed open after Labor Day.

We had perfect weather and a good turnout for the Bonfire Movie party. The many kids loved playing with their friends on the new playground.

The annual Clambake also had perfect weather, wonderful food, and a great turnout! With the warm weather, many chose to eat outside by the lake and then stayed to enjoy another bonfire.

We have three more upcoming events before the end of the year.

Thursday, October 11, at 7:00 pm, come to the Clubhouse for Candidates Night, a great opportunity to meet the candidates running in the election on November 6. Refreshments will be served. The Candidate’s Flyer with all the details is posted here.

Thursday, October 25, from Noon to 8 pm, help us decorate the Clubhouse for the Huge Halloween at the Haunted Clubhouse Party on FrightDay, October 26, starting at 6 pm. Click here for all the details!

Friday, December 7, is our annual Holiday Cocktail Party, a wonderful chance to dress up and enjoy good food, good music, and the company of good neighbors, then dance the night away. Details here.

Be sure to check the newsletter for more information not posted here and watch this website and our Facebook page for updates.

Speaking of updates:
Apologies if you tried to call or e-mail the GVCA Office. The GVCA phones, including voicemail, and GVCA internet service went down Sunday, September 23. Spectrum Cable was unable to restore service until Friday, September 28. If you tried to call, please call again. If you e-mailed, we will be checking our week’s worth of e-mails and responding as quickly as possible.
Thank you for your patience.
