Update 3/16/2022: Construction is complete and the porta-potty is gone. Here are some pictures of the work done to repair the sides of the embankment and extend the life of the twin culverts. Thank you to the employees of Summit County and Workman Industrial Services for their hard work on this project.
Update 2/28/2022: Summit County’s renovation of the twin culverts under Greenwood Parkway re-started today and will continue for the next two weeks as weather allows. At this time they have reduced the west bound traffic to one lane. Wednesday they expect to be pouring concrete and will close the westbound lane at that time, but will have flaggers in place to maintain two-way traffic on the south side of the parkway between Greengate Oval and Pinewood View Road. Watch here for future updates.
Update 2/17/22: The road is now open. We don’t know if the project was completed, or if they will be returning once the weather is better. We will post an update as soon as we know more.
2/14/22: Summit County’s renovation of the twin culverts under Greenwood Parkway started today, February 14. The crane needed to do the work is blocking the northwest bound lane of Greenwood Parkway, so the parkway is closed for traffic in the direction from Pinewood View to Greengate Oval. Residents should use Holzhauer Road instead to exit the development and reach Route 82, and reenter at the main entrance if going to the Clubhouse. Traffic in the other direction will be maintained. We were not notified in advance of this traffic obstruction today. Work is expected to continue for a couple days. We will post an update as soon as we know more.
