6/6/25 Update – The Parking Lot, Tennis Courts, and Outdoor Pool Entrance are Open. On Tuesday, the asphalt plant broke down as the contractor was close to finishing Phase 4, the base leveling coat. We opened the parking lot Wednesday but had to close it again Wednesday afternoon when asphalt plant was repaired and the contractor came back and finished Phase 4. It is now reopened until we begin Phase 5 (described below) which as of this writing has not yet been scheduled, but we are trying to schedule for Monday, June 16.

6/2/25 Original Post – The parking lot is closed for asphalt installation on Tuesday, 6/3/2025. Please Do Not Park on Village Club Road Tuesday between Village Parkway and the Parking Lot Driveway, as there will be many large asphalt delivery trucks needing both lanes to get in and out as quickly as possible. Park in the front turnaround, on Village Parkway, or past the Parking Lot Driveway on Village Club Road.

This is the base leveling coat, and once complete the parking lot will be open until they schedule the fabric installation and finish coat. The fabric and finish asphalt coat will be Phase 5, and will close the parking lot for a week to ensure the asphalt hardens enough to park on it without making depressions.

Now that the major hazards are gone, the tennis courts are open. To avoid walking across hot asphalt, walk west of the clubhouse, around the outdoor pool and the back side of the lake, then use the little foot bridge to cross the stream. If you get asphalt stuck to your shoes Please Do Not Walk on the tennis court.

Use caution and do not enter the parking lot or construction area until reopened by the contractor. Stay away from the edges of the parking lot and do not cross the warning tape, fences, safety cones and other construction barricades. Keep Village Club and the parking lot entrance clear for construction vehicles. To access the Community Room or Outdoor Pool while the parking lot is closed, enter through the Indoor Pool/Office entrance or through the Garden Room Entrance. Do not cross the construction barriers to access the tennis court, lake or playground, go west and south of the Clubhouse and around the lake instead.
