Update: Some of the inspections will begin at 10:00 am on Saturday, October 29.
Trustees from the GVCA Board will be inspecting the GVCA Common Open Spaces throughout Greenwood over the next couple weeks. In most cases they will be able to stay on the GVCA properties, but in certain areas the only access may be across private property, so please do not be alarmed. Inspections will be during daylight hours, but the exact dates and times of the inspections are unknown due to weather and individual schedules.
They will be looking at the state of the current landscaping in areas mowed, mulched, or used as trails, as well as the state of areas to be left natural. They will also be noting dangerous trees and areas in need of improvement. If you have a specific area of concern on a GVCA property, please e-mail the GVCA office ([email protected]) the location and other details, and we will forward it on so they include it in their inspection.
Reminder, the GVCA Common Open Spaces, including wooded spaces, are not to be mowed, landscaped, or used for extending your yard, nor for storage of wood, furniture, playground equipment, etc., nor for dumping of any kind, including yard waste. Returning leaves to the wooded areas is allowed, provided they are spread out, not dumped in piles or mounded up against tree trunks.
