Thanks to everyone who came and made it a fun first weekend outside. The outdoor sunning area will be open the rest of the week and the last day for the indoor pool is this Friday. Saturday we switch to the outdoor pool for the rest of the summer. Enjoy!
Start your Fourth of July holiday celebration a day early at the Greenwood Pool! Come at 2:30 pm on Sunday, July 3rd. We’ll have hot dogs, lemonade, and watermelon! We will also have the big round inflatables out.
People were asking the pool hours, so here they are. Note: A) Tuesdays after the swim meets we are reopening the pool for residents to race and B) Fridays in July we are staying open as late as 10 pm, as long as by 8 pm there are more people than lifeguards at the pool.
Whenever the outdoor weather is Sunny and over 70 degrees, the Sunning Lounge in the outdoor pool area will be open for use by residents. We had planned to open the outdoor pool this weekend, September 11-13, but due to the cold wet weather forecast, we will be staying indoors. For those who really want to be outside, the sunning area will be open. Although given the rainy forecast, maybe we should rename it the shower area. 🙂
