Construction has started in Greenwood. At the Clubhouse, new storm water drainage is being installed. PLEASE – Do Not Pass the Cones and Fencing Surrounding the Construction Site! This is for your safety.

The location of the construction site will move from day to day as work is completed, as will which doors are available for access to the Clubhouse. The best route is parking in the turn around and using the Office/Indoor Pool door. If entering from the main parking lot, either the Community Room or Garden Room entrance will usually also be available, use whichever is not blocked, the exception being when the room is reserved for an event.

This is Phase 1. Phase 2 will be the replacement of all the curbs, and Phase 3 will be replacement of all the asphalt. The goal, weather allowing, is to complete all the work before the outdoor pool opens.

On the other side of Greenwood, under the power lines, First Energy is reinforcing the concrete supports for their towers by chipping away the failed concrete, adding rebar, and then pouring new bigger concrete supports to encase the old supports, as you can see in two of the pictures above, This will provide more strength and weight to keep the towers firmly anchored.
